Use this free Business Plan Wizard to generate a professional Business Plan for your start-up business.

How to use this tool

This tool consists of 5 sections:

  1. Executive Summary
  2. Business Proposal
  3. Marketing Strategy
  4. Business Operation
  5. Investment, Finance and Profitability
     

Steps

  1. Complete Sections 2 to 5.
  2. Write Section 1: Executive Summary AFTER you have completed Sections 2-5.
  3. Your Executive Summary should include summaries of the following:

  • Description of the business, including products and services
  • Business vision and goals
  • Management team
  • Your market and your customer
  • Competition
  • Marketing, promotion and sales
  • Business operation
  • Financial projections
     

Write 1-3 sentences about each of the above topics. Finish with a closing sentence or two that answers the question: "Why is this a winning business?" 
 

Your Executive Summary should be no more than 2 pages long. 
 

Tailor your Executive Summary for your target reader. If the purpose of your Business Plan is to attract investors, your summary should focus on the attractive opportunity which your business provides to investors.

The summary may be the first section of the Business Plan that the target audience read. If it doesn't grab the reader's inteest, they may not read the rest of your plan.
 

  1. Click the Finish button on the Section 5 screen.
  2. Your Business Plan will automatically be generated in Word format.  You can save your plan to your computer and edit as required.
